I once again renewed my subscription to the awesome WRESTLE CRATE and was not disappointed. You too can jump on board and subscribe by heading to http://www.WrestleCrate.co.uk. You can also find them on Twitter at @WrestleCrateUK and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/WrestleCrateUK/
This months box had a new look to it which I love, but onto the contents of this months box. First out of the box was issue 18 of magazine Calling Spots with an wrestle crate exclusive cover with Finn Balor on, I am a regular reader of Calling Spots and this issue is as great as ever but the artwork on the front is brilliant with Balor painted in a Punisher style.
In addition to the copy of Calling Spots there was an exclusive print of the original cover of Finn Balor with him in his now iconic demon body paint stood behind him, I now have a few of these prints and I take my hat off to the artist Paul Cooper.
This months DVD was the one off UK Shoot Style tournament TETSUJIN including the first round, semi final and final of the tournament with contestants Zack Gibson, Jack Gallagher, Tyler Bate, Chris Brookes, Dan Maloney, Chris Ridgeway, Trent Seven and Dave Mastiff and also a Tetsujin Superfight in association with Westside Extreme Wrestling from Germany between Big Daddy Walter and Tommy End. I have heard a lot about this event and always wanted to see it so really happy that this was including and look forward to watching this. A Tetsujin Shoot Style Wrestling badge was thrown in.
As much as I’m not a fan of the man but the John Cena Pop Vinyl Keychain does look pretty cool, with the U can’t C Me hat and even little sweat bands it’s a great addition to my collection of wrestling merchandise.
As if the swag already in the crate wasn’t awesome enough I then came across a signed photo of the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle!! I have always been a huge Angle fan since his early WWF days and have been lucky enough to see him wrestle live a few times. This is a really awesome piece of memorabilia as it is from a true wrestling great and will be getting framed and hung up on my wall in the coming days.
Last out was this months t-shirt which is a SPLX Apparel exclusive, this brand has produced some great shirts and this one does not fail. It’s a good design that looks very slick and would look equally as good at a wrestling show or for a night at the pub.
Once again the guys at Wrestle Crate UK have sent another awesome crate and would recommend it to any wrestling fan out there, especially with the announcement that next months crate will include an exclusive New Japan item it can’t be missed.
