OUR REVIEW OF JUNE’S ULTIMATE WRESTLE CRATE!!

This months Ultimate Wrestle Crate was as filled with some great stuff as always. If you want to see what the buzz is all about and subscribe then head to their website http://www.wrestlecrate.co.uk and check out their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WrestleCrateUK/ and follow them on Twitter @WrestleCrateUK

The first item out of this months crate was a Wrestle Crate exclusive badge of the former WWE/WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Yet another unique item from the guys at Wrestle Crate and this one is a truly historic piece of memorabilia, the detail on his badge is phenomenal and looks exactly like the championship belt. It looks that good I don’t know whether to keep it in its packaging or put on my jacket???

Another one off item was included in the form of a lanyard decorated with logos of my favourite wrestler of all time Macho Man Randy Savage. I love this lanyard as how can it not be awesome it’s got the Macho Man all over it!! Now if only my work would allow me to wear it…

Yet again it seems like Wrestle Crate know me so damn well as they gave us a signed photo of one of my favourite wrestlers on the planet right now and star of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic Noam Dar!! It captures Dar in his classic pose and looking awesome, this will be going up on my wall instantly. Thanks again Wrestle Crate and good luck to Noam in the Cruiserweight Classic.

We were treated to a second print this month and this was part of the fantastic Portrait Of A Wrestler series by photographer James Musselwhite, featured in this print was one of the UK’s best wrestlers Mark Andrews! The way Musselwhite captures the wrestlers is breathtaking and really unique shots. As if this print wasn’t awesome enough it’s only bloody signed by Mr Andrews himself. My wall is getting more full each month!!

Carrying on with opening my eyes to more British wrestling this month with Pro Wrestling Chaos’ Heir 2 The Throne DVD from April 2016. I was impressed from the previous Chaos DVD that was in a past crate, so can’t wait to see this one. It includes three championship matches with the King Of Chaos Championship defended in a tables match between champion Wild Boar and Jeckel, a Ring Of Honor World Title match with Jay Lethal against Mark Andrews and the TNA World Championship as Drew Galloway puts the title up against Eddie Dennis. It looks an awesome show and even better that it was from a British company.

The second DVD in this months crate was the great Ring Of Honor Global Wars from 2015, I always love when ROH and New Japan team up as the rosters just seem to click so well and always put on classic shows and this one doesn’t fail to disappoint. The main event alone is worth watching the DVD with a 10 man tag match between The Bullet Club and The Briscoes, War Machine and Roderick Strong. Jay Lethal against Tetsuya Naito for the ROH TV Title is a barnstormer, as is the ACH and Shinsuke Nakamura match. I have seen this show before but will be watching again and can’t wait to see the bonus segments on this DVD.

As always Wrestle Crate included a t-shirt, but this month we got two in the ultimate crate. First out was an exclusive design from shirt from that man again Mark Andrews. It features an awesome coat of arms like design with a skateboard, airplane, his name and home city Cardiff. As I said before he is one of the best wrestlers in Britain and seems to be taking the US by storm too. The shirt looks amazing and the fact that it’s exclusive makes it all the more better.

The second t-shirt and final item out of June’s crate is quite possibly the best t-shirt I have received in all the Wrestle Crate’s I have had. It features a tribute to one of my favourite matches I’ve ever seen when The British Bulldog defeated Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Title at Wembley Stadium. The shirt looks great and with the pink print really standing out on the grey t-shirt, the silhouettes have a really classic look to them and the image looks like a poster promoting the event. I think this could be the most worn of all the shirts I own this summer as it looks that damn good and I expect to see this at a lot of wrestling shows.

SOMEONE STOP THE DAMN MATCH!!

Once again the people at Wrestle Crate UK kept up the great work with this months crate and made sure that I will be renewing my ultimate subscription for another month. Thanks again for the amazing stuff and can’t wait for next months Crate. Let us know what you thought of the crate over on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SomeoneStopTheDamnMatch
